ACHIEVE

Adult Evening Program (Non-Traditional Modular Classes)

At Southeastern we recognize that a lot of life happens after high school and while many of our students come to us straight from graduation, an increasing number of adult-learners have made their arrival on our campus. We embrace them! And we and are eager to help shape an educational experience that meets their unique needs.

Non-traditional students may be starting their first degree, seeking to finish a degree that was started years ago, or hoping to earn a second degree. Adult learners often carry many additional responsibilities beyond their coursework (full professional or ministerial lives, marriages, families, children, community engagements). At SEBC our hope is that for the Adult Learner, earning their degree will enrich rather than overwhelm their already full lives.

Adult students will find the following at SEBC:

  • Flexible course schedules
  • Accessible professors
  • Classroom colleagues who share similar life stage(s)
  • Respect for the student’s time and outside commitments
  • Encouragement and support
