Mountain View Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of Music and Students. Our Church is located in Wetumpka, Alabama with an average Sunday morning attendance of 135. We are searching for a combination Music and Student Minister. The candidate must be a born again Christian who is thoroughly evangelical in faith, doctrine, and practice as understood by the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. This position will require flexibility. We already have multiple volunteers, parents, and committees in place that are willing to help and serve.

We are looking for a Music Minister/ Worship Leader who can effectively lead a comprehensive music program and work with and assist the Pastor in his overall vision for the Church and Music Ministry.

The individual should also be able to lead and direct the Student Ministries, working directly with the Youth Ministry while engaging and partnering with lay leadership and parents to work with the Children’s and College & Career Ministry. They should be able to provide support and council students in spiritual decisions and help them grow in their walk with Christ.

The minimum qualifications for this position will be a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, University, or Seminary and that you have specialized in music training with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field of church music. Experience in Youth Ministry is also
preferred. Most importantly you must love the Lord and evidence a clear call from God to the Ministry.

The proposed total compensation package for this position is between $40,000 -$55,000.
