International Student Admissions Process & Requirements

Step 1: MAIN APPLICATION

Complete the online application form or download the application form and mail or fax it to the Southeastern Bible College Admissions Office.

Step 2: APPLICATION FEE

An application fee of $30 must be submitted to the Admissions Office before your application will be processed. Payment can be made through our secure online payment process or by sending a check with your completed application.

Step 3: TESTIMONY

The Testimony and Ministry Goals form addresses your personal salvation experience and understanding, as well as your current and future ministry goals. The goal is for us to learn more about your current walk with Christ and where you see him leading you. The Admissions Committee will review your responses and ability to express yourself through writing so please make your answers specific and concise.

Step 4: RECOMMENDATIONS

We require a recommendation from a church leader filled out on your behalf and returned to the Admissions Office. The church recommendation form should be completed by a leader in your current church or any previous church you have attended. Examples: Pastor, Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Elder, Small Groups Leader, Sunday School Teacher.

Step 5: TRANSCRIPTS

An official evaluation of your high school transcripts and any college credit taken at a college or university outside the United States must be completed by World Education Services or Education Credential Evaluators. SEBC requires a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher. Official transcripts from any college or university in the United States can be submitted directly to SEBC for evaluation. Step 7: CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT

All incoming students are required to complete a consultation appointment with their Admissions Counselor. During this appointment we will cover all the information needed to complete enrollment at SEBC.

Step 8: STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A completed Statement of Financial Support indicating that sufficient funds are available to pay the cost of attendance is required. SEBC also requires a deposit equal to 50% of the student’s estimated school bill for their first year be made before SEBC will issue an I-20 application.
