Kari Bankston is an Admissions Counselor in the Office of Admissions at SEBC. She is responsible for connecting with prospective students on a personal level and making sure they have everything they need for the enrollment process. She spends her time participating in college fairs in order to make connections with prospective students who have a passion for God and ministry.

Kari is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and now resides with her family in Birmingham, Alabama. She is married to Jordan, and they are expecting their first child in the fall 2009. Kari is excited she has finished her Associates degree from Southeastern Bible College in Biblical Studies in December of 2008.

She enjoys Tennessee football and basketball, spending time with family and friends, and talking with college students who have a desire to answer the call of ministry on their lives!

 

Walker Harrison

Walker Harrison has been on staff since May 2008. She is an Admissions Counselor for SEBC, responsible for taking prospective students, incoming freshman, and transfer students under her wing to help guide them through the application process, as well as helping them adjust when the school term begins.  Among other things, Walker is responsible for coming up with new, innovative ideas to get Southeastern’s name out into the world.  She creates advertisements, travels to college fairs, creates all the SEBC merchandise, and maintains the Admissions webpage. 

Walker graduated from Auburn University in August 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology.  She has begun pursuing her M.A. in Biblical Counseling in at Birmingham Theological Seminary.  When she is not working hard at the Southeastern or in class, she leads worship for the Birmingham Prayer Furnace.  Though she loves singing praises to the Lord, she is a prayer warrior at heart, and would love the opportunity to meet and pray with you!
